St Philip & St Etheldreda, Newmarket was formerly the Chapel of Newmarket Hospital although originally it was a workhouse chapel. It is the only workhouse chapel in Suffolk that is still in use as an Anglican church,.

We have regular worship at 9.30 a.m. every Sunday morning, with music led on either:

........or a small music group.

Bookings:

St Philip w St Etheldreda is in regular use on the following days:

  • 1st and 3rd Monday afternoon of the month.
  • 2nd Monday evening of the month.
  • 2nd Wednesday evening of the month.
  • 2nd Saturday morning of the month.
  • And on other ‘odd’ days.

PLEASE don’t assume it will be free when you want to use it, but ring me first on 577163 – BEFORE you arrange anything. We have had some embarrassing ‘near misses’ already!                                  Joyce S
