Joyce was secretary of St Philip & St Etheldreda for many years.

There is a photo of her and a quote from her on a BBC web page headed:

"Strictly star targets bone disease"

which  describes how Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer, Erin Boag, has helped with a DVD endorsed by the International Osteoporosis Foundation which hopes that ballroom dance moves may help protect against the bone thinning disease.

Sadly Joyce died in April 2010. A Memorial Service was held in St Martin's on April 28, 2010. Photos can be seen here.
