For
many, August will be the month of the family holiday. The
planning and preparation will have been completed some months
ago.
The
departure date now draws close. The children will be getting
excited, and parents will hear the repeated questions: "How many
days before we go?", or "Are we there yet?"
The
holiday is a time when families can spend lazy days in each
other's company.
A
time of recreation –
or
perhaps re - creation…
Time
out from the normal daily round, when we can relax and recharge
the batteries.
In
planning activities for the children during the holidays why not
consider the Music Week being run during the week
beginning Monday 16th August? The theme this year is
Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. Details
can be found on
the
Enjoy your holiday and may you have a safe and blessed time,
Revd
Peter.
